Application of Adaptive Yoga: The Foot

In this month's event, we will highlight the foot. The foot is our base of support; allowing the energy of gravity and the Earth to flow through and within us. Having an understanding of the foot can be incredibly important to not just our asana practice, but to our daily life as well. 

About the Teacher: 

Angela Deen is an E-RYT 200,  RYT 500, and a YACEP. She is also certified in accessible yoga, meditation, and mindfulness coaching.

Angela was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when she was 21 years old. Though she was told that yoga could be helpful for her MS, she never thought she fit into the "ideal" yoga practitioner mold that has been marketed. However, she eventually tried yoga and it was incredible!! Angela's mission, immediately after experiencing the wonders of yoga, has been to provide yoga to all folks, abilities, and communities in a more accessible way to foster growth and connection of mind, body, and spirit.
