Mindful Morning Yin

Fridays 6:45am CT

Start your day with a slow, relaxing practice of long-held poses (3-5 minutes) sitting and lying down. The practice of yin yoga incorporates mindful breath and awareness to calm the body and the mind. The use of props is encouraged to accommodate different body types and abilities. They will support you in holding the poses for longer periods of time. Increasing flexibility, decreasing stress, improving attention, and better emotion regulation are some of the benefits of this mindful yin yoga class.  Join Chryssi for this class and set the tone for your day!

 

About the Teacher: 

Chryssi has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. She is a RYT-200 with continuing education experience in Children's Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Ayurvedic Nutrition, and Yoga for Eating Disorders. Chryssi is currently enrolled in a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training with My Vinyasa Practice. She is a lifelong student who has been profoundly impacted by the practice of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation and wishes to share these transformative benefits with others as a teacher while she continues to grow and learn in this inspiring field.
